The NCOE Red Army Pep Club is a club dedicated to school spirit. 

 

The club itself is open to all NCOE High School students.

 

Representation of each grade level comes from elected officials. The elected officials are the Red Army Officers some officers are elected by the high school staff while the rest are elected by the clubs members. 

 

The club assist the athletic department financially sharing the cost of uniforms and materials needed.

 

The club also has special seating for members in the student section.  The student section provides cheer and student spirit at its best. 

 

​At home ballgames fresh hot popcorn is available for purchase. This popcorn allows the Red Army to raise money to assist the athletic department. A variety of merchandise is available at the school store as well.

 

'Big Red' is available at the home ballgames as well for photos with children and to add to the excitement of the game.

 

During half time of the Varsity Basketball Games we draw a name from a raffle to give someone the chance at the 'Half Court Shoot Out. 

 

During the Fall Festival season Red Army will reach out to its local communities to bring the school spirit to everyone, with a parade float featuring 'Big Red'. 

 

​Red and White Week- This week typically ends the Volleyball Season and begins the Basketball Season, the club will host a week of festivities that include: dress up days, locker decorating contest, and end the week with a decathlon made up of a morning of Cardinal Feud and the afternoon with classes competing against each other in physical games all in order to obtain bragging rights to the larger than life Spirit Stick. The Friday night of the Spirit Week we host a Red and White Dinner cooked by volunteer parents of the athletes. The Red Army will assist with this dinner to raise funds for our cause.  The dinner is followed by the Red and White Game. The end of the evening will close with the back by popular demand, the re-launch of 'Red and White Dance' hosted by the Red Army. 

 

​We host a golf scramble that is typically held the first weekend in May at the Carmi Country Club. 

 

We also have now began to sell concessions that the baseball and softball home games. 

 

​The club has also started streaming different events via Facebook and soon to come our own Youtube channel.
